Want to make money doing Jewish programming on Campus?  If so, then you might be interested in being a Jewish Life Liaison with University at Albany Hillel.

Who?

  • Any undergraduate student living on any quad or apartment complex on campus.

What?

  • Jewish Life Liaisons (JLL)
      • JLLs act as paid programmers and representatives of Hillel on the quad or apartment in which they live. Their mission is to actively engage students in their residential halls who are not typically active in Jewish life on campus.
      • JLLs serve both a programmatic and a resource role within the Residence Halls and Quads. Liaisons should be creative, outgoing and dynamic.
    • Responsibilities:
      • JLLs are required to do about one interesting and relevant program a month on their given place of residence.
      • Manage a budge of $50 dollars per program
      • Be in charge of all aspects of planning each program, including, pre-planning, flyering, getting necessary supplies, and follow-up.
      • Meet once a week, one on one, with JCSC Fellow for supervision and guidance.
      • Act as leaders to encourage all program participants to be involved in campus wide events as well as participate in Hillel programs.
    • The Payoff:
      • $50 dollars for every program you do.
